Offered here is a sharp Buren automatic from the 1960's. This watch is in running order and is keeping good time.

The movement has been cleaned and oiled. The Swiss built 25 jewel mechanical movement is automatic winding and must be worn daily to keep running. This movement is kept wound by wrist motion and can also be wound by turning the crown. The date indicator advances as designed. The gold tone case is in average condition.  I see wear through of the plating on the lugs and the case shows numerous scratches and deep nicks. The case measures 33.5 mm.

The pearl colored dial looks very nice. The gold color hands and raised gold color hour markers also look very nice.

The 2 piece lizard grain leather strap is used and in fair condition.  It looks great and compliments this watch very nicely.  Comfortable on the wrist.

Plastic crystal is in nice condition.

30 day no hassle return. If you are not pleased with this watch, just email and let me know that you would like to return for refund and upon return of the watch, I'll refund your money.

                                                        BEFORE YOU BID

                                               Please consider the the following:

Please be certain that you really want this item.

The watches I'm selling are 40 to 60 or more years old.

They will not keep time like modern quartz watches do.

All will show wear consistent with age.

These are smaller size watches with most cases measuring 25 mm to 40 mm. Gents watches were smaller back in my day. Accurate case size measurements are taken and will be stated in the description.

You are buying from a retiring watchmaker, and it is time for me to thin out my collection of watches. Yes, I repaired and collected. I've always liked watches.

Most, but not all, of the watches I'm selling will have been cleaned and oiled and tested by myself prior to listing. Servicing status will be so stated.  They will be adjusted to run as accurately as I can possibly make them run. Accuracy will vary according to the quality of the movement.  None of the mechanical movements will be quartz accurate.

I will not sell a watch that I do not believe is running at an acceptable rate.

I take high resolution close up pictures so you can see what you're bidding on. Please study them carefully.

International shipping is available through the Global Shipping Program only. International bidders should be aware that there will be additional costs such as import duties, taxes and other fees (you pay) involved with getting your purchase into your hands. Of this I have no control. The 4 dollars I show in my listing will only get the item to the Global Shipping Center.

If for some reason you need to delay payment beyond eBay policy, by all means let me know. I'll turn off unpaid item assistant in this case and work with you to accommodate your needs.

I'll gladly combine shipping if you are the winning bidder on more than one item. Must be in the same ending group.

Please do not ask for a delay of shipment. This is harmful to my rating as a seller. I must ship your item the next business day.

Thanks for having a look at this clean Buren automatic watch and if you bid, best of luck. Many thanks to those that have bid on or purchased a watch from my collection.

And lastly, don't hesitate to ask questions. I like to chat and your questions will receive a prompt and courteous reply. It is important to me that you know what you're bidding on.

With Regards,

Tom
