A near mint condition stainless steel Swiss Gent's Tag Heuer mechanical chronograph wrist watch, with a Venus 188 movement and a new leather watch bracelet. The watch has just been fully serviced and overhauled by my watch-maker, and is keeping excellent time. This watch is guaranteed to be a genuine Heuer wrist watch, fully signed to dial and movement, and comes with a new presentation box as shown.

THE DIAL: 100% mint, the stain silver dial with black Arabic numerals and signed "Heuer ". Dial with silver dauphine hands and  centre seconds hand. Diameter is 33 mm. The new crystal is also in excellent condition.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with silvered steel plates. The watch with a compensated regulator and two arm bimetallic balance, with over-coiled Breguet hairspring.  The movement fully signed "Heuer", and with 21 jewels.  Depressing the top pusher starts the chronograph centre seconds hand; depressing the lower pusher button stops the hand and depressing the same button again, returns it to 12. The sub-seconds hand records running seconds, sub-minutes hand non-functional.

he watch is a fabulous example of high grade Heuer engineering.  

The watch is much brighter and  crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equipment.  The watch is in very good working order for its age. 

THE CASE: 99% mint, the stainless steel case measures 37 mm outside diameter and 39 mm to ends of lugs. The case is in excellent condition, with a snap on rear cover. The plain watch case rear cover closes very tightly indeed. The rear cover is polished steel in very fine order. The watch case plain and unmarked as to be expected of genuine 1940 and 1950's Heuer watches. One needs to take great care of watches signed in multiple places for Heuer, currently being sold from Eastern Europe and South America.

THE BRACELET: 100% mint, watch comes with a new croco-finish leather watch bracelet, and the watch comes with a  red or blue leatherette presentation box.
