A 150W Metal DIY Polishing Machine With 4" x 1/2" Polishing Wheels Suitable For The Home Workshop
Suitable for Polishing Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel, Brass and Alloys. The Polishing Accessories can be used with the supplied Bench Grinder and / or with your Electric Drill.

** As this machine has a small 150W motor it is suitable for very light intricate polishing work only eg craft work, model making etc, using light pressure. For more heavy type polishing applications please see the 250W, 375W and 450W versions in our Ebay Shop.

Our short length spindle adapters are supplied with this kit, making it more compact for polishing small items. In addition the machine takes up less space on the work bench with the short version of spindle adapters attached.

Assembly – The buyer needs to Assemble the Polishing Kit to the Bench Grinder. For Assembly Instructions and Kit Contents Please Read Below. Tools required (not supplied) are a 19mm spanner and a Philips Screwdriver.

Please Note - the Motor will Run Hot. This is normal. The run time (duty cycle) is 10 minutes on, allow to cool, then continue. Do Not Push Hard against the polishing wheels. This will strain the motor and potentially damage the polishing wheel centres. Using Light Pressure with the correct polishing procedures will get satisfactory results.

Scratch Removal / Scratched Items - If there are scratches in the item being polished a series of wet and dry abrasive paper / discs etc may have to be used first to remove the scratches prior to the polishing phases.

Polishing Wheels
1 x 4" x 1/2" Sisal Metal Polishing Wheel.

1 x Flexible Drive Shaft + Adapter - 1200 mm long. 10mm chuck. Can only be be used on the right hand side of the bench grinder. The adapter slides over the bench grinder shafts as the spindle adapters do. The flexible drive shaft then attaches to the end of the adapter. The Flexible Drive Shaft must NOT be over bent or pulled tight as this may permanently damage it, invalidating any warranty.

Assembly - The Polishing Kit is supplied separately to the Bench Grinder and needs to be assembled / attached by the following method. 
Spindle Adapter Fitting
Once the bench grinder side guards and the grinding wheels have been removed (please note that the left hand grinder shaft has a left hand nut), the mop spindle adapters are then slid over the grinder shafts. There is a right hand and a left hand spindle adapter in the kit. Please remove the grub screws in the adapters first and then fit the adapters as far as they will go onto the shaft. Once fitted, reinsert the grub screws (one in each adapter) and tighten them using your allen key

We send by overnight carrier and the consignment tracking number is uploaded to the buyer’s Ebay account. Please make sure there is somebody available to receive and sign for the consignment. The carrier will only attempt to deliver twice and if there is nobody there on both occasions the receiver will then have to collect from their local depot within 5 days.
