With a lower bout width of 16 1/2”, this Yamaha FG-300 guitar is bigger than a Gibson Hummingbird.
Spruce top; back and sides appear to be Brazilian Rosewood. [Laminated, of course.]

The decorated pick-guard is probably beyond salvation. The guitar itself has been well-used and then kept in storage for years.
Action is medium, with potentially some adjustment available at the bridge. Top shows a little warping, but not beyond what would be expected in a guitar of this type
and age.

Dated, we believe, to the late 1960’s, this hard-to-find Yamaha model was produced in Japan.
A little clean-up and set-up, and probably a new pick-guard, should see this vintage baby back in service, but no specific claims are made in this regard.

Guitar does not have the original case, but will be safely packed for shipment in some sort of case to be determined later.
This guitar is offered on an As-Found, AS-IS and No Returns basis.

Originally offered on eBay last spring, this Yamaha went unsold when the high bidder refused to pay up.
Shipment only to Continental USA.
