This Jean Baptiste flugelhorn is in fantastic condition and plays really well. All valves and slides function flawlessly when oiled regularly and are as clean as can be. This horn has a few very minor exterior imperfections, including a scuff near the engraving on the bell, a spot of finish loss on the second valve casing, and an absolutely minuscule ding in the second valve slide. Other than this it looks brand new.

This horn has served me well as my main flugel over the past three years and I have taken obsessively good care of it, keeping it oiled and very clean with extreme regularity. It is a respectable budget horn modeled after the Yamaha 631, and it plays/functions better than several Dillon branded horns that I've recently tried. It has a rose brass bell which helps give the horn a beautiful flugel-ly sound and beautiful appearance.

This auction includes the original case and stock mouthpiece which are both in great condition and have been used minimally. This flugel’s leasdpipe is designed to take mouthpieces with a Bach-shank (small morse taper). I will also be listing a perfectly fitting Curry 1.25FL mouthpiece, so please be sure to look out for that as well if interested.
