E O Brody Green Glass Celebration; it's a Glassopollusia with four prices for sale in one listing! We are celebrating Green Glass Art with this listing that provides the buyer an opportunity to own some American favorites. Green Glass is popular with collectors and entertainers alike. Set them in a cabinet for display or use them to serve your favorite food items at a gathering or formal event. Two pieces are pale green glass and the other two pieces are a beautiful emerald green glass that is highly detailed. A total of (4) FOUR pieces of art glass are for sale in just one listing! This 'Glassopollusia' intends to showcase green glass made in America and celebrate the art of green glass in it's variations. The items are described as follows:
Item 1
This is a GREEN GLASS EMERALD COLOR FISH SCALE PATTERN SHALLOW OVAL DISH. Item on left in first photo. I see depression like qualities within this piece. This piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It is layered with fish scales from top to bottom with small scalloping around the slightly flanged top edge and handles on each end of the oval dish. Stately in design. It is a 8 1/2” long transparent green glass dish. The top is 4” in at widest point of oval shape, with a slight artistic foot, and the bottom is 1-1/4” wide at widest point in oval and the oval is 4” long. On the bottom we see no mark. The bottom is covered with an oval sunburst. This is a green dish for candy, desserts, or decoration. No Makers mark on bottom, but I suspect that this is an E.O. Brody product. E. O. Brody indicators include the glass color, design, bottom marking, style, and glass quality. This is the classic high relief fish scale pattern top to bottom. We are uncertain if this a an old vintage piece and I want the buyers to be aware that we are uncertain of the age of this piece. These pieces are in high demand according to my experience with this brand and style of grassware. They will appreciate in value. The E.O Brody Company was founded in 1958 in Cleveland Ohio by Ernest Brody. His plan was to sell utility glass floral containers to florists. It was not an actual glass manufacturer, but a distributor/wholesaler that markets utilitarian and decorative glassware (and ceramic items) made especially for the florist industry. The glass has been made in the United States, by Indiana Glass Company, and later (in recent years) by Anchor Hocking. Indiana Glass manufactures tabletop and decorative glassware containers for the retail, private label, candle and floral markets. E.O. Brody markets and distributes vases made by Indiana Glass to wholesale florists, large floral buying groups and flower shops. Indiana Glass customers include large retailers, specialty retailers, and candle makers.

EMERALD GREEN TRANSPARENT GLASS FISH SCALE PATTERN SHALLOW ROUND DISH. This item is on the right in the first photo. I see depression like qualities within this piece. This piece is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. It is layered with fish scales with small scalloping around the slightly flanged top edge and ornate looped handles on each end of the round dish. Stately in design. It is a 7 1/2” round, transparent green glass dish. Slight artistic foot, and the bottom is 3-1/2” wide with sunflower pattern on bottom. On the bottom we see no mark. This is a green dish for candy, desserts, or decoration. No Makers mark on bottom, but I suspect that this is an E.O. Brody product. E. O. Brody indicators include the glass color, design, bottom marking, style, and glass quality. This is the classic high relief tight fish scale pattern top to bottom.

This is an E O BRODY GLASS DISH in the LIGHT GREEN SMOOTH EDGE PATTERN, CLEVELAND OHIO, USA. This item in on the back row in the first photo. This dish is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This dish measures 3 inches tall and 6 inches across the opening. Vertical Column base is 3 inches in diameter. This is a light green dish for fruit, flowers, or candy. No makers mark on bottom. No marking on bottom. This is the Cousin to item number 4 made by Brody.

This dish is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This dish measures 3 inches tall and 6 inches across the opening. Vertical Column base is 3 inches in diameter. This is a light green dish for fruit, flowers, or candy.
