An opportunity to add to your diecast 1:43 scale collection a group of 4 Lancias + 2 bonus models making 6 Lancia models in all.

4 of the models are from the Solido Serie Esclusiva Collection and these models have extra detail over the standard issues such as detailed interiors and extra body detail such as door handles, windscreen wipers, number plates, wing mirrors. Also underside detail such as exhaust. Quality of paint finish is excellent. The models are also supplied in a quality tin with lift off lid rather than a box. This is a great advantage over the perspex display box as you simply lift off the tin lid and remove the model for display/enjoyment/examination. There are no screws to remove and the model can be lifted out and put back just as easily ☺ No fiddly screws to undo and that sinking feeling where you know the model will never end up in the box again! The tins are covered with a quality card sheath depicting the model type and once again, this can be slid on and off easily.

Vincenzo Lancia was the genius who started it all in the early 1900's and the earliest model in our varied selection here is the 1934 Astura Coupe Gran Lusso. With a V8 displacing 2972cc, the Astura built up an impressive competition record. Vincenzo Lancia died at the young age of 56 in 1937. His son Gianni was to take up the reins of the firm but for many years hence, Lancia would  rely heavily on the ageing designs of its creator. It was only in the second world war years that Lancia had the time to experiment with a new design. The result of this careful development was our second car here, the Lancia Aurelia Gran Turismo B20. This V6 engined Aurelia took on numerous body forms thanks to Pininfarina. Some non-coupe versions had "Suicide Doors" ie front doors hinged on their front edge and rear doors at their rear edge. When opened the doors would give unrestricted access to front & rear seats. Implementation of this arrangement was a nod to Vincenzo Lancia who had hit on the idea many years earlier. The Aurelia was to go on to great competition success and it was these early sporting credentials which would begin to mould Lancia as a truly sporting marque.

Fast Forward to 45 years later and Fiat Owned Lancia introduced a concept car, the Lancia Dialogos in 1998 which is the subject of our third model. Notice the Suicide Doors to evoke the design of the Aurelia. All four doors open on our highly detailed model. Front seats swivel through 180° on this concept to face the rear and create a mobile meeting room. Also the steering column can be adjusted from lefthand to righthand drive. Both these innovations are working features of our replica offered here. The Dialogos was never produced but the 2001 Lancia Thesis did incorporate some of its ideas.

The last of our Solido "exclusive" models is the rather plain Lybra Saloon. With some features shared with the Alfa Romeo 156, the Lybra never came to the UK as Lancia deemed it not worthwhile to produce right hand drive versions as long ago as the early 90's.

Also included is a larger 1:24 scale model of a 1967 Lancia Fulvia 1.3 HF Coupe Rallye. This features opening doors boot & bonnet and excellent interior/exterior detail such as windscreen wipers, chrome door handles, Wood rim steering wheel & dashboard. Presented on black plastic plinth in "one trip" bubble pack.

Finally we have a delightful smaller (believed 1:64) scale model of a 2008 Lancia Delta 4 door hatchback presented in an attractive window box. Not the 1980's rally proven classic Delta but the new post noughties one and with its left hand drive status, never widely available in the uk. Instead we get the closely related Chrysler Ypsilon.
