Hello Technics fans!

If you are a happy owner of Technics SU–C1000 or Technics SU–C1010 preamplifier, your accumulator (battery) is probably near to an end of life (or maybe already dead). Here you can buy a brand new battery pack (new old stock) – the battery was never used (not even once). It comes with an original protective cap on the connector (not in the picture).

I have bought two of these for my self. I have left my radio playing non-stop – just to see how long it takes to discharge the battery to an end. It took more than 2 days in SU–C1010 with 1/2 volume to discharge the battery. Now I'm using them for a 3 years – both are still working perfectly.

The initial charging after battery replacement takes always 10 hours – so you have to be patient (you can't use the battery during this time). After that time the diode light goes green. After 8 hours of use the green diode goes to orange and the battery will recharge when you switch the preamp off (it is because the Ni–Cd type should not be kept discharged), but you can still play from battery (even if it is orange). Once you put the battery inside and charge, do not remove it if it's not necessary. It is because, you will charge again the battery that is already full (it is not very healthy for any accumulator).

So, if you like to see this beautiful green light on your preamp, this is the auction for you! If you don’t care about this light, please sell your preamp and buy a SU–C800 or another one. Let other people have some happiness from playing battery powered preamplifier – one of the very best that Technics ever made.

If you are affraid that the battery is old or bad, I can give you some start-up warranty. You can check in a few cycles how long the battery runs (also Ni–Cd accumulators may need a few cycles to get their full capacity), but you will be pleasantly surprised.

Any questions – just ask!

I will ship the item ANYWHERE for FREE with Priority & Express options included (some countries have just priority – but no express). It is regular post though, so if the package is lost, you are facing 2–3 months until they give money back. If you do not accept such risks, you can check out a currier that operates in our countries and pay the costs of such shipment. The same goes for insurance. Shipment to Europe usually takes less than one week (3–4 working days). US and Canada about one week. Russia 1–2 months (don't ask me why...).

Cheers!
