A Large Vintage Wall Crystal Candelabra.

A good condition vintage two branch crystal wall candelabra  from the mid 20th C.

This heavy crystal wall bracket is elaborate and very impressive. The solid heavy circular wall plate has three holes for wall mounting and is supplied with three new steel 10 x 1 1/2" screws and raw plug for mounting.  The wall plate is covered by a large oval crystal cover with chrome inset to reflect light.  A heavy threading attachs the bracket for mounting the finials and branches.  This is covered by a circular crystal cup with chrome inset.  The two branches bolt directly onto to bracket and the two heavy finials attach by heavy white metal threadings.  The two S shaped branches support the crystal bayonet holders with crystal 'drip trays' below.  The 'drip trays' have crystal drops, alternating pear and octagonal with double octagonal, suspended below.  Two SBC (B15) bayonets have been wired with new super thin oval transparent clear 0.96mm two core flex.  The brass bayonets have been fitted with new magnolia card candle tubes and two new B15 warm light energy efficient candle bulbs.

Please note that the images of the fully assembled light shows the base leaning to the wall.  Obviously when fully attached/screwed to the wall the mounting plate holds the fitting on the true perpendicular.

Dimensions: The wall mounting plate measures 8cm in diameter.  The branches project approximately 24cm from wall surface.  The candelabra measures approximately 50cm in fully assembled length. 

Condition:  In good used vintage condition.  All metal is clean, polished and bright.  The insets have there original chroming.  This is very much intact but does have minor surface marks and losses.  The bayonets are clean with bright brass and have new wiring as described as above.  All threadings have been cleaned and work as intended. Several of the assembly nuts have been replaced with new solid brass 1/2 nuts.  The crystal is clean and bright.  There is some minor chipping to some of the drops.  The connecting pins on the drops show some age related tarnish.  There is a small crack on the internal edge of one of the 'drip trays'.  This neither affects the function of the fitting or is really visible on display.  Please be aware that as used vintage lighting there are minor surface marks.  We actively encourage prospective buyers to view the 24 images provided to satisfy themself of condition.  The images constitute part of the description.  We welcome any enquiries.

NB:  As with any vintage electrical fitting the lamps should be inspected / installed by a qualified electrician and are sold on the basis of display only.  For secure packing the wall light will be supplied disassembled.

If you need an item particularly quickly e.g for a birthday present then please let us know straight away and we will dispatch as a priority. We will happily combine postage on multiple purchases. We always ensure that delicate items are packed carefully and thoroughly to ensure a safe journey, we use new,professional packaging materials bought specifically for the job. We do not aim to make any money out of postal charges, we charge just enough to cover the costs of sending items. Our main priority is that items arrive undamaged. Please bear in mind when leaving feedback that postal prices have recently increased considerably and that delicate items need a huge amount of packaging materials to ensure a safe arrival. Please also bear in mind that postage costs do not simply cover the cost of the stamp, they cover the cost of quality materials, time and petrol to get items to the post office.
