Standing about 7” tall, this little vase dates from the 19th century. It is decorated with a spring scene of flowers, branches with pink catkins, bamboo and a butterfly. And, nestled at the bottom are a pair of partridges.

It is probably of the Republic Period c. 1920. The glaze is especially fine and the painting is very pleasantly raised to the touch.

Please see the photos. They show the vase’s excellent condition and beauty.
