Drain & Septic Maintainer pellets contain a special blend of bacteria and enzymes that have been specially selected for their appetite for fats, grease, oils and soap scum that are the usual cause of clogged and smelly drains and poor functioning septic systems. These specially bred bacteria and enzymes quickly liquify and then literally digest fats, oils and soap scum quickly removing the blockage and odours. Our enzyme producing complex is temperature, bleach and chlorine resistant enabling them to grow in harsh conditions giving you the best result possible. They have no effect on the environment and the only by-product from their bio-enzymatic process is carbon dioxide and water.

Septic systems are very easily thrown out of balance, the microbes needed to digest the waste entering a septic system on a daily basis can be easily ‘killed off’ by many of today’s cleaning products, especially the caustic, chlorine and bleach based products and antibacterial cleaners. Because Drain & Septic Maintainer pellets have specially selected bacterial stains which are bleach and chlorine resistant they give superior results under the most demanding of conditions, enhancing the septic or drainage systems naturally occurring microbes and keeping your system running smoothly.
Where to Use
Drain & Septic Maintainer pellets are perfect to start new, restart existing or boost poor performing septic systems. Drain & Septic maintainer pellets will quickly reduce or eliminate odours in poor performing septic systems, drain lines and grease traps. They can be used in every area of the home or industry including drains, showers, kitchens, toilets, sinks, garbage disposal units. Safe for port-a-loos, caravan and boats and anywhere you have odours or stagnate water. Safe for all plumbing materials.
How quickly will they work?
This depends on the type & severity of the blockage. If conditions are warm you will notice a reduction of odour and improvement in flow within 24 hours. Severe blockages caused by a foreign object such as plastic, rocks or living tree roots, will require inspection by a qualified plumber prior to application. To help the bacteria thrive as quickly as possible add 1 litre of warm water to the drain before use.

History
From our original building, one-third of its current size, through the opening and closing of our sister store in Racecourse Rd Hamilton, the SEQEB power dispute in 1985, the relocation of the horse stables, the outbreak of the Hendra virus in 1994, not to mention the hail storms and floods…. We have survived.
Everything we do and offer comes from decades of experience and ensuring we provide that personal touch. In 1994 Hendra Hardware’s alignment with the Mitre10 group secured a better foundation for the business through superior branding, stronger marketing and increased buying power.
In 2010 the store’s founder Chris Davies mentioned his plans to retire and move on to greener pastures to the property owners – the Pinkey family. Alan Pinkey who opened Pinkey’s Convenience store back in the 1970’s and his son Matthew saw an opportunity to ensure the survival of this local icon and the deal was struck. Since then with Matthew at the helm the store has, and continues to, grow and diversify to meet the expanding needs of the local community as well as strive to ensure the future of the business
On purchases over $50, Hendra Hardware offers free local delivery to suburbs; Hendra, Ascot, Hamilton, Clayfield, Nundah and a few others that are close by. Delivery is dependant however on the size and weight of the items purchased. Don’t worry if you live outside of our standard delivery are, we can usually still offer the service for a small delivery fee.
Returns are happily processed providing the following criteria are met. Your receipt of purchase must be supplied. The item must be in saleable condition with packaging intact and it must be returned within 7 days from purchase. If circumstances will not allow you return it to us within this period, we can sometimes extend this as long as you call us within the 7 days to advise us of the problem and when you will be able to bring it back.
Outside of these terms, no return of purchase or exchange is allowed.
Thank you for your interest in the products and services from Hendra Hardware. This Limited Warranty applies only to physical goods, purchased from Hendra Hardware. In most cases, how the warranty is processed is governed solely by the manufacturer or the manufacturers licenced agent. This may take the form of repair or replacement at their discretion / instruction. Please keep this in mind when dealing with our staff as this choice is not made at a store level.
What does this limited warranty cover? This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period. During the Warranty Period, Hendra Hardware will organise repair or replacement, at no charge, the products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.
What will we do to correct problems? Hendra Hardware will receive the product for return on the subject of communication with what the set directions are from the supplier.
How long does the coverage last? The Warranty Period for Physical Goods purchased from Hendra Hardware is based on the product that has been purchased. Please see staff before purchase to understand what the period of coverage is. A replacement Physical Good or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original Physical Good or what the supplier’s coverage period is, from the date of replacement or repair, whichever is longer.
What does this limited warranty not cover? This Limited Warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by: conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship.
What do you have to do? To obtain warranty service, you must first contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you.
