There is a beautiful 6 page Richard Avendon Paris Collections feature. Richard Dormer, Keith Ewart, Tony Armstong-Jones (later to become Snowdon) Tenca, were the key photographers in this issue. In fashion Dior, Lanvin Castillo, Balmain, Patou, are feature.
Stockings - Nylons are advertised heavily as are corsets and bras - the term I believe was foundation garments and some do look like pretty firm foundations! Cigarettes are advertised and sold as a glamorous pastime although I did not see any model's posing with cigarettes which is very common in slightly earlier magazines of this era. Gloves and hats are clearly still dominant accessories. The advertisements are informative of the aspirations of the era and add to the editorial instead of being incidental to it.
This is an enjoyable timepiece that is fascinating not just because it is old but because it is truly interesting.

This vintage magazine is in excellent condition throughout. The cover is smooth and fresh and as are the internal pages which are all present. The spine is strong and white. A very good copy.
