U.S. Marines Invade Iwo Jima This amazing series of Covers was prepared in 1993 and 1994 by the Postal Commemorative Society for the 50th Anniversary of World War II ( WW 2 ). It historically documents and dates the major events of World War II ( WW 2 ), and has tied in the actual 50th Anniversary DAY date and country of stamp issuance, to commemorate the specific event. So each of the cancels is from the country location, and dated on the 50th annioversary of the event ( excluding some Sunday cancels ), but from the current years of 1993 or 1994. Also attached is a related MINT stamp tying in with the event. These covers make an excellent presentation of the event, and each cover comes with a card that has a full historical write up of this event. We were pleased to purchase an entire collection of these covers, and are happy to break the collection up for those interested in specific events of the war that relate most to them, or their collecting pursuits.  Please request an invoice with combined shipping  BEFORE PAYMENT and we will be happy to reduce your shipping costs accordingly. We encourage all of our bidders to look at our store and add to their orders to take advantage of our combined shipping policy.  You may combine purchases up to one week.

****All items are packed carefully with cardboard to ensure that they arrive to you in the same condition they left our full service store and offices. WE USUALLY SHIP WITHIN 1 FULL BUSINESS DAY OF PAYMENT.

SHIPPING RATES

Domestic - 1-3 items first class for $2 | 4-10 items first class parcel for $3 | 11 items and up will be adjusted depending on weight and value (normally sent in priority mail box for $6.00)

***** Some items that are odd shaped or heavier will have a different Standard Shipping price. These items will be subject to parcel rates at $3 or higher and will usually already be reflected in the listings shipping rate chart.

International - 1-3 items first class for $3 | 4 items and up will be adjusted depending on weight and value. Parcel rates for international shipments start at $10. (Canada & Mexico subject to slightly lower rates in parcel cases)

***** All international shipments with a value of $60 USD and over will be sent by registered mail for safety. The cost for registered mail is $13.65 extra, added to the above shipping rates. A buyer can request a lower, first class only shipping rate, but the buyer will take full responsibility for the items shipped and any possible loss or damage through mailing

**** Shipments to Italy will be subject to our Registered Mail rule (as seen above) but at items values of $30 USD and over.

RETURN POLICY  - We have a 100% Customer Satisfaction return policy in place.  If you do not receive an item, the item has been received damaged, or you feel the item was not described correctly, please send us a message and we will correct the situation immediately to our best ability.
