Remote is used and therefore may have scratches dents, some markings, or other signs of previous use. The remote, however has been TESTED and CLEANED. I use disinfecting wipes from Lysol.

I don't use a phone camera to test the remote – I test every button using a specialty remote tester (not included) to make sure they all work.  Batteries not included
