Charming, vintage push plate salvaged from Northeastern Ohio. It's made of solid brass and has squared corners.

Normally, we would clean plates with marks and an uneven patina, but since this has a cool, industrial look and some folks prefer this look; we decided to keep the price lower by $10 and let you decide. If you preferit cleaned to a brilliant shine, we could clean and polish it prior to shipping for an additional $10--email us after theauction if you're interested.

Considering that the piece was probably touched hundreds or even thousands of times, it is in great shape. There are tiny nicks and light scratches from top to bottom, however, there are no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or gouges. What may appear like deep scratches in the photos are actually marks caused by something that rubbed against the plate and they willcome off oncecleaned and scrubbed with some steel wool. The plate is perfectly straight, and is still very strong, and ready for another lifetime of service.
