The boards to the book are a beige color with no spotting on the front board and a small spot on the bottom of the back board (about the size of a silver dollar). There is minimal edgewear to the boards and corners are not bumped. The interior of the book has discolored pages due to age but no dampstaining is apparent. There are bookseller markings in the top right corner of the first free end paper in pen. No other markings to the pages. The illustrations are black with a green accent. The text block and spine are firmly attached. The dust jacket has small chips in various places and creases. The front of the jacket has pieces of the cover that appear to have been pulled off by a sticker. The back of the jacket has been ripped and repaired with yellowed tape. The jacket is now covered in a mylar cover.
