Here is a large Modernist Mid-century Swedish off white and gilt gold picture frame. This used to house a 1930s oil portrait but I believe this frame is older than that,more 1950-60s time period. The finish is a off white with gold surround paint. The frame is in fair as is vintage condition with surface chips to the edges,surface wear but is still solid and sturdy. The top back ledge( unseen from the front), has worn-off gilt paint that reveals some bare wood. The back wood is marked Made in Sweden.
