Hi There!

Up for sale today I have a really nice and sincerely rare set of test/prototype figures made for Tim Burton's Frankenweenie. Included in this set are Elsa and Persephone as pictured.

Set displays beautifully but does show some minor shelf wear and a few specs of what appears to be a marker of some kind that is only somewhat visible on the interior clear plastic that holds the figures. These marks are only visible upon very serious inspection and will not remotely affect display. As for any other notable defects, there does appear a slight break through Elsa's neck (see pictures). There is a wire running through the figure, so this apparent defect does not affect the structural integrity of this figure in any way. I cannot confirm whether or not this figure came out of the press like this or if it happened sometime after as I am not the original owner, nor are there any resources available for me to confirm as these figures are extremely rare.

From my understanding, these figures were intended for a limited run of 2,000 (as the box states), but never made it to production. In turn a test run of only 12 of these figures were ever made.

I have also been made to understand and have somewhat been able to confirm through others research that these figures were designed by and signed by current Funko's CEO, Brian Mariotti. After close examination of current examples of his signature, I can personally say that they look like a match, but I urge an objective amount of scrutiny here as I have been unable to solidify a definitive source to confirm this. Here nor there, the signature (as pictured) is located on the exterior top flap of clear plastic on the box and is somewhat faint. A plain white piece of paper was placed under the flap to aid in visibility for the purpose of taking pictures only. As pictured, the writing clearly states "#3 of 12 TEST" and is then signed by who I am assuming(on good authority) by Brian Mariotti.

Item will be packed well and shipped Priority with signature confirmation within one business day of purchase. In attempts to avoid any damage in transit, bubble wrap will be carefully stuffed around the figures inside of the box. Any changes in packing/shipping preference should be agreed upon before purchase and will otherwise commence as described.

Upon writing this, I also have another set of test figures from the same series available for sale. I am not opposed to a group offer if you are interested in both of them as I would prefer to keep them together as a set if at all possible. The listing title is identical for both sets. To find, simply plug a few keywords from this listing and it should show right up for you.

As always, please feel free to message me with any questions prior to buying and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Thanks for looking! Have a good one!
