Set of four vintage handpainted Nippon plates, with a cherry blossom mark and the phrase “Hand Painted Nippon” in green underneath. Beautiful set, likely dating circa 1900, with ribbed wave pattern to rim of porcelain, which is edged with cobalt blue and gilt scrollwork. Gorgeous handpainted cherry blossoms in pink and in gold paint, with thin white enamel outlines and dots. Plates measure 7.25” in diameter. In excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, or scratches.
