Vintage collotype photo of the Black River near Watertown, New York. Titled "Black River," a beautiful landscape image with rich tones and superb clarity. Photo measures 9.25" by 7.25", centered on a large paper plate measuring 14" by 10.75". The photo likely issues from a rare turn-of-the-century photo portfolio on Watertown and environs (another image is listed now along with this one), though the publication is unknown to me, as the photos were bought separately and without any available information. In excellent condition save for a few faint smudges in borders and a crease to one top, all of which would frame out.
