Authentic & very rare at least 18th century, as there is possibility to be of 17th century,  Ottoman Turkey large size bronze water 
fountain faucet. Water fountains were called "Sebil" at Ottoman 
Empire territory. 
Sebil or sabil 
(Arabic: سبيل‎) is a public water fountain, often decorated with stone carvings. Sebils were built at crossroads and outside mosques 
throughout the Ottoman Empire to provide drinking water for travelers and enable ritual purification 
before prayer. The construction of many sebils was considered the
hallmark of a beneficent ruler. This specific large size faucet was from a public water fountain at Rhodes Island (today Greece). It has very nice green patina and is working properly, commensurate age & use.Last image attached, is just for information purposes & refer to the Hisaronu Mosque Izmir. Extremely rare authentic Ottoman faucet.
