This movie does what all movies are supposed to do! You start watching, it takes you in and you want to see what happens. An entertaining romp around Romania to London tongue in cheek not taking itself seriously, we all had a good time watching it. Lovely to see the wonderful Richard Lynch in his last film role and he does not disappoint. Gary Douglas does a fine job looking somewhat bewildered while all these fantastical events unfold around him. Ian Wright in a film role, worth a look in itself. Sexy looking girls are plentiful, Harley D's are exciting, and can't beat a red Ferrari and a golden Luger. A must see!

Bikes, girls, and a gun with mystical powers - what's not to Like?”

This film has cult written all over it. And if bikes, swords, Ian Wright (yes the formal Arsenal footballer), fast women, guns and dodgy deals are your thing it’d be worth getting yourself a crate of beers, some mates and enjoying the fast paced action and intrigue
A Brit Biker flick in which cigarette smugglers take on Ex Nazis who possess a supernatural Luger - deliciously bonkers.
I watched "Gun of the Black Sun" last week - and I really liked it. The story's imaginative and well paced. The locations are amazing, as is the cinematography - doffing its hat to the likes of "Easy Rider", "Quadrophenia" and even "The Leather Boys" as it passes through some spectacular European backdrops.
The performances are stellar - not least the final appearance on screen by Richard Lynch before his untimely death earlier this year. Certainly a surprise to me, but ex-footballer Ian Wright's appearance is amazing - filling the screen with a presence that suggests that he's a veteran of such things. Elsewhere, the cast explores the remarkable plot-line supremely, holding one's attention despite the ferocious pace of the storyline.
To me, this film has all the qualities to ensure its success; the Nazi/Occult connection a quite unique slant that has rarely (if ever) been explored before.
Despite the minuscule cannon of genuine British cult movies - "Gun Of The Black Sun" will be rightly considered a fine example of imaginative and provocative film-making; a rare commodity these days!
