PowerVault™ MD1000 is a 3Gb/s serial attached SCSI (SAS) expansion enclosure that offers seamless capacity expansion for existing PoweVault MD3000 and MD3000i arrays or Diractly Attched to any Dell PowerEdge Server through PERC 5/E or PERC 6/E RAID Controllers.
- Expand with up to two enclosures behind the PowerVault MD3000 or MD3000i
- Enables mixing SAS and serial ATA (SATA) drives in a single enclosure
- Fifteen 3.5" drives in just 3U of rack space
