This is the slightly smaller diameter version of our superb new Platter Damper - made from Super Flexible Black Polymer. With a diameter of 285mm and just 1mm thick, it is very floppy and effectively damps resonances in whatever surface it is placed on. As with all of our Polymer products it has been treated with our superb Arezzo Reference Platter Fluid to prevent any static build up.
The Platter Damper is designed to be placed on the platter under your existing mat or on its own in place of your existing mat. It can even be used on top of your existing mat if you so wish.
This model is 285mm diameter so it sits perfectly inside the lip on the platter of SL1200 / 1210 turntables and other direct drives such as the AT LP120.
The mat is shipped in a strong cardboard LP mailer, so it will reach you in the same perfect condition that it left us.
