Description: Second edition. Signed by the author, in ink and also with his red hanko (name seal), on the frontispiece. 1920, second edition. One of 500 copies. Softcover, Japanese style string binding, blue wraps. Introduction, prologue, and 50 poems. Very Good in the original cloth chemise. Minor browning and chipping along the bottom edge of the wraps; previous owner's gift inscription on the inside of the front wrap, and a single small ink mark to the blurb ont he first page. Tight binding, otherwise unmarked. The chemise is Fair to Good, lacking one of the two clasps; one of the slim panels has been reattached with tape; rubbing; original title label present. Yone Noguchi was one of the first Asian poets to gain popularity in America. He also is the father of sculptor Isamu Noguchi. Very Good / Chemise.
