This is the Original (1sh) movie poster LE MEPRIS.  It is a re-release original movie poster reissued in 2008 (R-2008) by Rialto Films.   It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The original film and poster were released in 1963. 

The movie stars Brigitte Bardot, Michel Piccoli, Jack Palance, Giorgia Moll, Fritz Lang, Jean-Luc Godard, and Linda Veras.  It was directed by Jean-Luc Godard.  The artwork on the poster is by Gilbert Allard.

This unrestored movie poster is rolled and measures 27" x 40".
