4940 Christmas card c1935 James W Marion, Brookline PA, Earl Gardner, Newfane VT

Excellent condition.

The art style used in this card’s design is the silhouette, a popular motif in the 1920’s and ‘30’s.

George & Nettie Gardner lived in Newfane, VT. I suspect they retired there after possibly being involved with a school in the south.

This card was sent to the Gardners when still in the South, as reference is made to it in the note written by James W Marion
