I must receive the clock and inspect it in person. I must be able to see exactly what your particular clock needs. No two clocks will be in the same mechanical condition. Depending on age and how well they were taken care of over the years they are always in varying degrees of wear thus needing different amounts of work or repair done from minor jobs to complete rebuilding...so there are no ballparks. You are responsible for shipping costs.

I was elated to find out you could rebuild my Telechron rotor to satisfy my customer who had his electric grandfather clock for many years.The service is fast and reasonable and I would recommend it to any clockmaker/repairman.The rotor is quiet and smooth operating as well as accurate. Hermanjewelers1868 My grandfather was the original owner of my Telechron 712 clock. I remember it on his night stand in the middle 1950's here in San Francisco. It nearly fell off the stand several times during our infrequent earthquakes but has survived. When he passed away the clock came to my mother and now to me. The clock stopped running last year, three generations of service was to much for the old ticker. I searched ebay, the internet and local clock repair sites for the B-2 motor and was told that it had long been out of production and was a rare as hen's teeth. No one wanted to attempt a rebuild...enter CLOCKODILE...Thanks to you I have a fresh rotor that should keep grandpa's clock running into the next century. My Golden Hour Clock was received by my grandfather and father from Chevrolet Motor Division as a reward for a sales campaign in 1953. The clock sat in my grandfather’s apartment for twenty-seven years until he moved into a nursing home, then it sat on the mantle in my dad and mom’s house. It never missed a lick in over fifty years. My father died ten years ago and a couple of years ago, the clock stopped working. I took it apart, did several adjustments, cleaned it, and even replaced the motor – all to no avail. It might run for a few minutes, but would bind and stop. The last go-around, I ended up bending the motor shaft. I was concerned because of the history of this item. Then I found CLOCKODILE on eBay and decided to have the clock fixed as a Christmas gift for my mom. He fixed the clock quickly and had it back to me before Christmas. I received the motor for my clock yesterday ahead of schedule and in excellent condition. I installed it in our Cincinnati Time clock which was originally manufactured in 1984. This restored our clock back to working order. I checked the time this morning after having run twelve hours and it was right on the money. The cost of the motor was a little more than I would like to put out for a clock but I an confident that it is of the highest quality and I feel like this clock is a piece of American manufacturing history. I followed your advice and was able to unscrew the little knurled knob and remove the hands. Then I further followed your advice and successfully used a large flat blade screwdriver to remove the barrel nut. Then I followed your excellent printed directions to the letter and reinstalled the new mechanism you sent me which had the same shaft length (yay!!) and remounted the hands and synchronized them exactly to the chime. Had no problem getting the movement back in the case .... took my time to make certain it was done right and I did not mess anything up - it took about 30-45 minutes. What took another 30-45 minutes was adjusting the hammers so that I got a good rich tone. We can honestly say that the clock has not sounded this good for a long, long time ..... probably since new! I always thought our 'clock' guy who we have had oil and maintain all 4 of our clocks has slowly but surely bent the hammers or Chime Rods such that they have not been sounding good. The replacement motor for the Jefferson Golden Hour Clock arrived perhaps two days after my online order. This clock was a wedding present to my folks in 1950 and it sat prominentely on an old oak chest of drawers in our living room as we were growing up. I saw a "sister clock" in a friend's house and thought I should see about having my clock fixed. I am so pleased that you are a supplier for these very special motors. My family will be delighted to see the clock once again running. A whole generation of "grandkids" have not seen it, so it will be something new and different for them.
