The telecommunications devices usually need 48V. A 48V power supply (usually) charges 4 x 12V batteries. Buying 12V batteries is significantly cheaper than a UPS. Telecom systems are operated directly from 48V, and the devices that need 220V can be powered via this adapter. 48V DC is converted into 220V AC. That's exactly what this inverter/converter is for.
The device is stable and heavy = truly industrial construction and quality for continuous operation.
Possible application:
You charge batteries (e.g. ours) from the solar system and get uncompromisingly stable 220V via the inverter. Connecting is child's play. Everything is clearly described on the back: 2 contacts for 48V, 2 contacts for 220V.
