These vegetable tanned sides are uniformly light in color and take stain very well. The thickness is in the 6/7 oz. range and they are firm, but flexible--they will bend, but not break! They can be used for knife sheaths, holsters, coaster, tool pouches, the list goes on! This is naked full grain leather, so you can expect to see briar scratches, scars and insect bites on the surface. There might also be a few small cuts or a hole, but generally the selection is suitable for most leathergoods applications.
