The Double Horn Anvil has a tapered post to fit into the hardy hole of an anvil or stake plate. The bick iron is used by Blacksmiths, Jewelers and Tinsmiths separate from their anvil for delicate work and other alternative means. Jewelers use this tool for making jewelry, such as bracelets etc. You can find many uses for this double horn anvil. The castings we make have been produced for decades and has proven its reliabilty.  This stake is not dressed however it can be polished with a belt sander and buffing wheel to obtaing a high smooth gloss.

The double horn bick was developed from an old Dixon design and is used mostly in repousse', raising, armor and other artistic applications. It can be used for blacksmithing, tinsmithing, making armor or sheetmetal working. Made from tough ductile iron.

The tool is about 1-1/4" wide and 8" across the length of the forming surface and stands about 7" above the tool holder. This tool fits in an old version of the Dixon Stake Plate and the Iron Mountain Single Stake Holder (SPDS)

Please look at the small stake plate I have listed and the "set" which includes this tool.

Of course the items can be purchased separately, but the sets have been discounted to optimize sales.

Casting weighs approx. 5 1/4 lbs.
