These Kits are of the finest quality, the parts have been specially selected from our best quality suppliers. The wires are thicker than standard and exit from the same side of the boxes providing less chance of tangle or snag when reinserting.

No modification to the wiring or lamp is required, the kit simply replaces the original battery. Once plugged in, the kit uses 3 x "D" type Batteries (or rechargeable equivalent) using the same voltage.

Fully illustrated instructions provided, there is no soldering involved as the kit pugs into the original lamp plug. So simple my 8 year old grandson has done it!

Once converted, your lamp will use standard D cell Batteries or rechargeable for added economy. These can be found cheaply in most supermarkets.

My customers are not limited to preserved railways, but search and rescue, fisherman and campers!
