Get a thick, rich shaving lather for the best possible shave with no effort using this Handmade Blue Stoneware Lathering Bowl. 

Hand thrown by Stef Baxter on his Potter's Wheel, each bowl features an internal ridged base to generate a good, thick shaving lather with little effort. The ridges deliver traction between a shaving brush and shaving cream; no other bowl will generate a rich lather as quickly and efficiently as this bowl.

These bowls are available exclusively from the Executive Shaving Company. Being handmade, each bowl is unique, so expect slight variations in finish, size and colour. 

The bowls are predominantly blue coloured, lots of blue with splashes of dark and light blue and green. There is no particular pattern. No matter which bowl you get it will be different from any other. These bowls are stamped 'made in Scotland' on the base.

They also fit perfectly in the palm of your hand allowing you to get a firm grip of the bowl whilst lathering up.

Suitable for all sizes of shaving brushes.

Product Details

These bowls were hand thrown on a pottery wheel then fired in an oven at 1260 degrees centigrade.
Dimensions vary from bowl to bowl but the average dimensions are:
Height: 50mm
Bowl maximum diameter: 135mm
Base diameter: 50mm
Weight: 315g

Simply load your damp shaving brush by swirling it over the shaving cream or soap. Then take the bowl in one hand and with the other hand whip up a good shaving lather with the shaving brush.

Once the lather is to the required consistency apply to the face for shaving.
