This kit includes the authentic Viqua replacement UV replacement lamp and accompanying quartz sleeve for the VIQUA D, D4, D4+, D4-V, C, C4, C4-V and IHS-D4 Model systems. 

It is extremely important to replace your UV bulb every 12 months to maintain proper system efficacy. The sleeve can be replaced every 24 months or as needed to keep mineral build-up from hindering the lamp's effectiveness.

**When it’s time to change your VIQUA Lamp, it’s important to use a VIQUA replacement. The 602810-102 includes an authentic Viqua lamp and sleeve. The UV-C light being emitted will weaken with time, so once a lamp reaches 9,000 hours (or every 12 months), it is important to replace the bulb promptly.

Why using a genuine Viqua lamp is important: Viqua UV systems and lamps are tested and certified as a complete unit. Using an authentic Viqua lamp ensures proper system performance and water disinfection, providing you with confidence in knowing your family's water is safe. 

NOTE: Using non-Viqua lamps voids all UV system certifications and may compromise your warranty should an issue arise.
