Today's treasure is antique coin purse made in Imperial Russia around 1850.
The purse is of miniature size, made of Coin Silver. The mesh is finely made, cable style with intrinsically wooven links. The mesh frame has a chain hoop, for attaching the purse to a fob or chain.
The chain hoop is marked with the Silver purity - 800.
The maker's initials - Б.С. - are also ironed on the hoop in stylized, cursive font.
