8mm EMI RFI Metal Braid Tinned Copper Shielding Expandable Tinned Copper Shielding Sleeving

The base material is copper coated with a silver colour plating. This plating can be sanded of filed back to expose the copper base and the braid can then be soldered.

This braided sleeve is tinned and used for EMI RFI shielding of wires and components. This metal sleeve is also commonly used for cable protection.

Specifications:
Width: 8mm - This is the width of the sleeve when flattened as shown in the image with the ruler.

Length: Pricing is per linear meter - This is product is supplied in one continuous length. Example - If you order 5 of this product you will receive a 5 meter length of braid.

Expansion: 1.5 times the width - In general the braid can expand to 1.5 times the width of the braid. However, it is possible to expand it more if it is acceptable to have gaps between the braids.







Shipping
We ship through-out Australia and world-wide and strive to send all items the same day or next day. Delivery times within Australia is around 4 to 7 days from the date of postage. However, for items which must be transported by ground transport (lithium batteries), delivery times may be longer depending on your location. International delivery usually takes between 14 days to 4 weeks depending on location.

International Buyers
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing.

Payment
We accept PAYPAL ONLY (PayPal allows you to pay by credit card, debit card, and PayPal account balances). Items will only be shipped to the registered PayPal shipping address. Items must be paid for within 3 days after sale. If items are not paid for within 3 days we reserve the right to restock and relist the item and cancel the sale.

Invoices
In the interest of the environment we do not include a printed tax invoice with your purchase. However, if you do require an invoice, please contact us and we will be happy to supply you with a digital copy in PDF format. Tax invoices are not available as we are not currently registered for GST in Australia.

Return Policy
All products are checked and packaged in good condition before dispatch. In the case that an item is not functional on delivery, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will work with you to resolve the situation and at our discretion we may offer a refund upon returning the item. The purchaser must pay for the cost of returning the item to Maker Australia and only return the item after seeking prior agreement from us. In any case, please first contact us by eBay message or email to discuss any issues before leaving negative feedback.
