Due to a very high volume of repeated questions about our brick ovens, we have decided to add the most frequently asked questions

Does every oven you sell come with free accessories such as peels, thermometers and chimneys?

No you get exactly what’s pictured and described, every oven is listed on its own or as part of a package, and if you need a chimney you will need to buy it as part of a package that comes with one or buy one separately

What width and length is the oven? The size of the oven is the size mentioned in the listing title, this is the widest point on the oven, this is not the cooking area, for example a 100cm oven is 100cm wide x 100cm deep, the cooking area is also 20cm smaller which ever size oven you buy

What is the height of the oven? A taller oven such a deluxe 70cm is 70cm high, 80cm is 75cm high, 90cm is 80cm high and 100cm is 85cm high, a lower model such as a Italian 90cm or 100cm is around 65cm high

What size shall I build my base? Build it 10cm smaller to compensate for where the corners of the oven are rounded off , the oven will over hang 5cm either side, looks better this way however not essential build it how you prefer it to look.  The oven is reinforced with steel rebar it will hold its own weight so you could even sit it on two pillars

Can the oven sit directly on railway sleepers?  Yes it is fine

Does the oven get delivered on a crane and will you lift it on to my platform?  No its delivered kerbside on a pallet, on a truck not in a van and left kerbside via one of the big pallet networks

Can you arrange a crane delivery for us?  No, I would suggest you try a local company but expect to pay a minimum of £450

Can you ship out of the UK? No sorry apart from France which is £60 and Ireland is £60

Is postage free any where in the UK? No its free to UK mainland, Ni is £30, other isles vary on postcode, please contact before ordering for a quote

Can two people lift this oven? No two people cannot lift any of our ovens, suggested hire equipment is further up the listing. Please note we do not hire this equipment out you need to source it in your local area

Can I turn it on its side to bring through a standard door way? No this is not possible, the oven can certainly be tilted on its side to fit down a alley way, however it’s not realistic to think you are taking the oven through a house with standard doors

If I order the wrong size oven and it does not fit am I responsible for courier charges both ways even though it was free delivery?  Yes you are responsible for courier charges both ways with a minimum of £120  we will not be out of pocket because you did not measure what size would fit,  if you are unfortunate enough to be in this situation the £120 will need to be paid up front before the courier collects, the £120 cannot come out of the original payment as we will need to cancel the eBay transaction to get back our 10% eBay fees, once we cancel there is no option to partial refund, this is why we need the £120 upfront. Once cancelled and refunded, you then have the option to re order the correct size

My oven has curing cracks is this normal? yes the curing cracks are a part of the initial curing process and will not affect the oven in any way or form, please read the files on the PDF disk for more information and fill as instructed, the oven comes with everything needed to assist you

Can I view before I buy? Sorry we have to comply with eBay’s regulations, eBay is a online market place and all eBay enquires have to be done online via the eBay platform.

Are your cheapest ovens you’re most insulated? No the more you pay the more insulated the oven will be and less wood it will use, our ovens priced from £350 up to £3500 there is a oven for every budget

How heavy are the ovens? 70cm is 280kg, 80cm 380kg, 90cm is 480kg 100cm is 620kg, anything bigger than a 100cm oven is more than likely two big for a home garden environment

How many pizzas can i fit in one of your ovens? 70cm 1 x pizza, 80cm 2 x pizzas, 90cm 2-3 pizzas and 100cm 3 pizzas

How big is the door? On a 70cm and 80cm its 11" on a 90cm or 100cm its 14", on the Italian ovens will be around 20"

When will my oven arrive? it will arrive within the eBay’s estimated delivery dates an exact date will be supplied closer to the delivery date

Can I pay extra to have it sooner? Sorry your oven will be dispatched according to the purchase date, you cannot pay extra to jump the queue.

We have a few chips on the square base the brick oven is built on? Due to the product being made of natural products and the whole logistical side of things, its very likely the by the time you install the oven or even by the time its delivered, you would have at least one blemish on the base. As the oven is already very rustic, these can sometimes add to the character of the oven, however can very easily be filled with any standard filler, you can even use the filler paint provided with the oven.

Does the oven come fully assembled and can it be delivered unassembled? The oven will be fully assembled and ready to use an cannot be supplied in kit form

Does the oven need covering? The oven can be left uncovered for spring, summer and autumn however for deep winter, like anything else in your garden we strongly suggest its covered by a insulated cover or at least a blanket followed by heavy duty tarpaulin

Do you except offers? We work on a high volume low profit margins, we are making less than 10% we are not prepared to make less than this, please do not make us a offer it will be ignored
