Diameter at top of splines is about 21.6mm (0.85"). Length is 24mm (0.95"). Square end has 17mm (2/3") sides.

Tool can easily be used with adjustable wrench, fixed 17mm (2/3") wrench, or on a standard bench vise

Make sure tool matches brand and model of freewheel. Be certain tool is fully engaged in freewheel before applying force to remove. Removal is performed by turning tool counterclockwise, using either an adjustable wrench or by inserting the tool in a bench vise. The wheel's axle should be used to hold tool firmly in place until freewheel is loosened.
