h Item Description and Condition g
This is a beautiful, Eastern European-style blown glass Christmas ornament in the shape of a pineapple. I have researched it and shown it to others knowledgeable about ornaments, but no one has been able to identify the manufacturer.
I have included a close-up of the cap for identification reference.
The pineapple is a little stylized. It has greenery growing up the sides, but the top is definitely like a pineapple. The top also includes some glitter reminiscent of snow, in addition to gold glitter highlights.
As a pre-owned item, it
is sold as-is. It appears to be in excellent condition. It is likely mouth-blown and hand-painted. As with all
handicrafts, some imperfections are to be expected and add to an item’s charm.
This ornament is 6” tall including the cap and hanger loop at the top, and is a little less than 2" wide at its widest point.
This ornament was acquired from an estate sale and had no box. Because of its fragility, I will double-box it for shipping, so eBay's calculated postage cost will be a bit higher than you might expect. (see red paragraph below)
Each heirloom quality Radko ornament is still mouth blown and hand-painted in Eastern Europe by skilled artisans and craftsmen.
Please see the photo(s)
to judge the condition for yourself, as they are part of the description to
which you commit as a buyer.
h Packaging and Shipping g
I live in a non-smoking,
cat-friendly household. My items are stored in a room where my cats are not
permitted.
I have cleaned this item
of surface dust/grime and will wipe it down one last time before packaging.
However, I will not guarantee that stray cat hair does not find its way into
the packaging.
I will usually mail item(s)
within three business days after the purchase date (I check messages in the
evening so don’t count the first day). If you are in a rush to receive your
order, please let me know immediately upon purchase and I will tell you what is
possible, as I do work full-time.
h Photos g
The color of the actual item(s) could be slightly darker or
lighter than pictured due to camera and lighting conditions when taking photos.
I try to enhance the photos to be as true-to-life as possible or to bring out
certain details I feel are important to buyers. For this item, I used eBay's image enhancer to brighten the color a little so the intricate designs were more obvious.
Do note that while my
original photo files are high-resolution, some focus and clarity is lost in
uploading to eBay. Some faint/fine imperfections may not be visible.
Any easels, backgrounds or other items used to display the item(s) for photographs are not included in the sale of the item(s).
h Buyer/Seller Responsibilities g
No warranties or guarantees are implied for the item(s).
Buyer is responsible to pay for the item(s) purchased. If buyer doesn't pay within seven days, an unpaid item case will be opened with eBay.
h Damaged Upon Arrival? g
1. Take photos of the package damage from various angles BEFORE YOU OPEN IT. These photos are required to authenticate the damage for your refund.
2. Once you open the box, take a photo to show the contents before you remove the contents and start to unwrap the bubble wrap.
