Meade Giant Field Tripod

Needs a 4-foot pier between the mount and the tripod to make this set-up work. The previous EQ6 was barely usable, due to the weight and length of the scope. I can include a large alt-az mount that I was looking to use with the scope before this mount came up for sale.

Make no mistake this is a two person job (minimum) to set it up. Ideally one for a permanent mount.

Excellent images on the handful of occasions I braved setting it up alone. One back operation later and I'm unable to manage it.

Almost nothing like it in the UK. Be unique and experience the night sky through a huge refractor!

Would consider a quality part exchange. Must be smaller! Up to £1500 based on a fair used value.

Includes large, heavy travel box (pictured). You'll spot the cup of tea on the focuser end of the box in the picture. Hoping this helps with the scale.
