Titanium is harder than steel, but lighter than aluminum. All metals can scratch, but Titanium is abundantly more scratch resistant than other metals in the market.

• Timoku designs symbolize the joining of two sounds in a single integrated creation, far greater in strength than its components, yet still preserving the essence of individuality. During the samurai Era, Mokume Game was used to create adornments on the handles of the Samurai’s sword. These marks were considered to be symbols of status & wealth.
• Today the technique is used to create contemporary art & jewelry. The process involves layering thin sheets of black & gray titanium & exposing them to extreme heat & pressure which causes the layers to fuse rather than melt together.
• The end result is a unique & distinctive layered pattern in the metal that mimics the grain on wood.
• It is the representation of the harmony of nature as embodied in wood, while having the straight & polish of metal.

• Edward Mirell proudly incorporated Black Titanium Cable into its creations.

• The cable is made with 49 strands of titanium wire that, to touch, possess a soft & silk-like feel.

Edward Mirell pieces featuring co-casting employ one or more metals into a base platform or mounting made of one or more materials, generally with melting points higher than the accent materials. The challenges here are numerous & varied depending on the material chemistry, reactivity, variances in the different materials expansion & contraction rates, & learning the proper investment material that will work best for the specific combination. Preparation of the base component is critical to success.

Crete

Like Titanium, Tantalum, & Niobium, Crete’s name is derived from the rich mythology primarily connected with the Ancient Greek gods. It is concrete-like appearance was the catalyst in its name selection. The earliest large scale users of concrete technology were the ancient Romans.

Crete emulates the porous textured look & color of concrete in a material that offers limitless flexibility. It can be machined, set, formed & much more without the limitations of the original material such as in weight, durability, & wear-ability.

Carbon Fiber

Unlike other commercially available carbon fiber, Edward Mirell’s exclusive carbon fiber has luxurious, breathable, leather-like feel to it. It is the first time being used in the jewelry industry.

Cobalt

A newer material being used in the construction of alternate metal jewelry, it is light-weight & hypo-allergenic. Its platinum-look differentiates it from both tungsten & titanium. Cobalt is very scratch resistant & is made more scratch resistant than titanium, but not quite as hard as tungsten. Cobalt rings will not chip or crack. It can be engraved with personalized sentiments.

• Item must have the manufacture TAG ATTACHED. The tag is generally the white sticker on the zip lock bag or box containing the item.
• Item must be in its original UNWORN condition. 
• Item must NOT be sized or customized in any way, by us or another jeweler. 
• Item must be returned with ALL original accessories and paperwork included in the shipment
• All eligible returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee if the item has been used or the tags have been removed

Warranty

ALL ITEMS COME WITH A 4-MONTH WARRANTY!

We, at Accessories & Jewelry, try to provide buyers with the best quality jewelry possible. However, there are times when the manufacture may make a mistake. When the manufacture makes errors, it can lead to a defect in the item stone setting. Our warranty covers manufacture defects such as loose stones or missing stones caused by the failure to tighten prongs when setting the diamonds. Certain conditions apply, read below for details.

Conditions for Warranty

• Buyer is RESPONSIBLE for shipping costs for shipping the item to us and receiving the item back from us.
• Missing stones will ONLY be installed if it is caused due to a manufacturing issue.
• The warranty does NOT cover installation of stones caused by regular wear or abuse of the item, which will be decided upon receiving and assessing the item.
• Solitaire diamonds and side diamonds of three stone settings will ONLY be installed under warranty if the stone is sent with the item.

Each warranty claim is assessed on a case by case basis. There may be costs associated with repairing an item, aside from shipping, if we believe the item does not fit the warranty of manufacture defects.
