I think the new series Subaqua time pieces from Invicta are exceptional value for money and mod 31573 is certainly included in this group. At 51.2 mm in diameter, again this is a big watch. However, it does sit very comfortably on the wrist aided by the curved back and beautifully integrated multi link bracelet. I know of many watch brands that would charge much more than the purchase price of this Invicta watch just for their bracelet and it would be nowhere as detailed or solidly built as this. The case work is finished in high polish and is 11 mm thick. On top of the main case sits a rose gold bezel at 8mm thick. The bezel has been machined with a snake skin finish with round 10 minute hour indices in white lume . The dial is 35 mm in dia finished in black with a rose gold border encompassing the three sub dials. The sub dials provide for 24 hr, chronograph seconds and accumulated minutes. The larger white lumed hour and minute hands are outlined in gold and sit in stark contrast against the black dial, allowing time telling at a glance. The main sweep second hand is bright red which matches the coloring of the three sub dial hands. The beautiful snake textured bezel has a solid rotational click to it, again enhancing the overall high finish of this piece.

Invicta has seen fit to equip this watch with it's unique screw down crown and function pushers. In have only seen this style of screw mechanism before on the Grand Divers. In a nutshell as you unscrew the crown and pushers an inner red sleeve appears. Once time setting and chronograph duties are complete and the crown and pushers are returned to their lock down positions the red sleeve is no longer visible. This feature is to allow users to identify at a glance lock down before entering the water. This feature together with a screw down one piece back plate allows this timepiece to sport a Water Resistance of 500 meters.

The fit and finish of this piece is exceptional. Powered by a Japanese Quartz S11 VD53 should allow this watch to provide many years of time telling.

I have been fielding enquiries recently in relation to the authenticity of the watches I sell and also customers wanting all plastics removed from the watches when being photographed. 

Firstly all my watches are certainly authentic. I do not sell, replica watches all though I do know that replica Invicta's do exist as I have myself unknowingly purchase a couple. My advise is not to buy Invicta watches where the country of origin is China. Having said that both replica's I purchased were from the United States, obviously marketed through Chinese affiliates in that country. Try to buy from reputable sellers. 

If I describe a watch as new, then it is new and generally is wrapped in the manufacture's plastics. I do remove and replace some but not all of these plastics for photographic clarity. Most of my customers prefer an unmolested product where plastics are concerned however if you are genuine in your enquiry and prefer that all plastics be removed for photographic purposes then contact me and I will oblige.
