3D picture on 6 x 6 cm plastic board with magnet
This image of Saturn was taken with the Hubble Space Telescope. With its rings, Saturn looks beautiful, consisting mainly of dust particles about the size of a cent, orbiting it at breakneck speed. Many small moons orbit Saturn with them in the rings. The large moons lie outside the rings. The largest moon is called Titan.
Saturn is the second largest planet in our solar system. It has no solid surface, but consists almost exclusively of gas. Although Saturn is very far away from Earth, it can be seen with the naked eye for about ten months a year.
