Rosenthal Porcelain Female Nude Ariadne Mythology Figurine Cassmann


DESCRIPTION:  Rosenthal porcelain figure of a nude sitting girl, listed in the reference book Rosenthal Figurines by Ann Banduhn as “Ariadne”.  This figurine was designed by Albert Caasmann in 1914.  His name is impressed in block letters on the side of the base.

 

This figurine is very similar to another figurine that we recently sold on eBay, but it is not the same one.  The two are not identical.  This one has some color and paint variations that differ from the previous one that we sold.

CONDITION:  In excellent factory original condition free from chips, cracks, damages and repairs. 

This piece is not marked as a factory second.

 

MEASUREMENTS:  Approximate maximum length is 5 3/8 inches and the height is 4 1/4 inches.
