Here is a perfect beverage antenna termination resistor. No need to worry about burning this out - in fact you can transmit up to a several hundred watts with it. I have run 1500w into mine at the end of a 580ft beverage no problem just make sure your transformer will handle it. 470 ohms 500W with screw terminations.
