Water circulation and aeration year-round is vital for a healthy pond.  During warm seasons, an aerator will maintain peak oxygen levels for fish and enhance the biological performance to reduce organics that feed algae and maintain crystal clear water. In the winter, aerators are most effective and efficient method in ventilating harmful gases out of the pond.

Complete Aquatics EnhanceAir™ PRO 1 Air Pump - 30 LPM
Ponds up to: 8,000 gallons
Air Flow: 1.06 cfm / 30 lpm
Power: 25 watts, 115 volts

This unit is a rubber diaphragm air pump. The pumps have top-placement air inlet and contained in a tough allow housing It is capable of supplying air for ponds, water gardens or fish holding systems. With proper care this pump should give you years of solid and consistent performance.
· Pump must be above water level in the pond and on a horizontal surface.
· Elevate air pump a few inches off the ground to keep moisture from coming in contact w/ the pump.
· Do not allow pump to be exposed to the elements. It is highly recommended to use a vented cover, such as an artificial rock or irrigation valve box, to protect the pump.
· If using multiple diffusers, ensure diffusers are evenly distributed throughout the pond. Also, make sure air flow to each diffuser is regulated by a valve. Adjust these valves to balance the air flow to each diffuser.
Ensure that valves balance air flow between diffusers and avoid restricting
overall air flow from the pump.
· The pump will automatically operate when plugged in. Pump must be plugged into an oulet with a proper ground. If your outlet has no ground, contact an electrician to properly ground the unit. Also, pump must be plugged into an outlet protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interupter (GFCI or GFI).
