Nice lot of 65 assorted metal coins/medallions/tokens. They are as follows:.....First up is a lot of 45 original promotional aluminum coins/tokens from the Shell Oil "States Of The Union" and "Famous Facts & Faces" coin games from the late 1960s.  Each coin is 1" in diameter. The 33 different "States Of The Union" are as follows: Virginia, Louisiana, Georgia, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, Missouri, Illinois, Oregon, Massachusetts, Michigan, Alabama, West Virginia, Connecticut, North Carolina, Rhode Island, New York, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Texas, Washington, Nevada, Maryland, California, Indiana, Ohio, Colorado, Kentucky, Florida, Pennsylvania and South Dakota. The second group of 12 promotional aluminum coins/tokens are from the Shell Oil "Famous facts and Faces" coin game. These are dated 1968. I believe this promotional game run by Shell gas stations was centered around matching famous people in American history with one of their most famous accomplishments. Each time you were able to match the famous person "coin" with  his accomplishment "coin" you could redeem the pair of coins for different prizes. This lot of 12 represents one half of the 12 different possible 2-piece sets in the collection. Nine are the actual famous people coins and three are accomplishment coins. There are NO matches (famous person and his accomplishment) in this lot. The coins are as follows: Abraham Linclon, Booker T Washington, Albert Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas A Edison, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin, John Paul Jones and George Washington. The three "accomplishment coins are : Mark Twain's Mississippi Riverboat, Admiral Byrd's Flight Over The South Pole and Francis Scott Key and the Star Spangled Banner. All 45 coins in these two different games are in really nice excellent + shape. A few of the coins may appear to have more noticeable marks/flaws on them in the attached pictures. They do NOT have these flaws (some kind of reflection from the photos). 2)....NEXT lot is a group of 16 brass coins from the Sunoco "Millenium" coins series dated 1999.
