These Natural log slices make the perfect rustic centerpiece for vintage, shabby chic or woodland themed weddings.

 

Cut from Paulownia / Apollonia trees, they have been smoothed and sanded to give a flat finish.

The growth rings of the tree show beautifully on the top and the pretty bark is visible around the edge. If it is slightly peeling in places as the tree would do so naturally, it has been stuck with glue or secured with a tiny tack.

Please note as natural items they may have imperfections, splits and loss of bark in some areas. Some slices may have been filled in where chunks are missing.

Some have a small hole drilled in the center. 

This is to absorb any movement in the wood slice to prevent cracking or splitting, but can easily be covered up with your accessories and ornaments that will sit on the top. they may have pins / nails in the bark, they may have staples, split, knots, have filling where chuncks or slices are missing.

 

Use as the base for table decorations and the larger two sizes would work well as a cake stand for a small or large wedding cake.

 

For best results, they should be stored individually in a dry place and placed on their sides to ensure air flow.

 

although we describe these as round, they are not perfect round circles as they are cut from natural tree trunks, which are never perfectly round.
