Loverdose made its debut on the fragrance market in 2011. Appropriately, its name combines the words “love” and “overdose.” That’s no surprise, given that it attracts wearers with a beautifully crafted heart-shaped purple jewel bottle and a seductive combination of soft, spicy, sweet, floral and powder accords.
Opening notes include fragrant mandarin orange peppered with the distinctive bitter and licorice-like aroma of star anise. The sharp, pungent essence of licorice enhances floral notes of jasmine sambac and gardenia in the perfume’s heart. Finally, amber, vanilla and woody notes blend in the base.
