What is Thanaka Powder?
 Thanaka powder is regarded as the secret of the beauty and healthy skin of the women of Myanmar.The Thanaka paste has been used by Burmese women for over 2000 years. It has a fragrant scent somewhat similar to sandalwood.The Burmese grind the bark of the fragrant Thanaka tree, which is related to the sandalwood tree, to make Thanaka powder.They then form the powder into logs and sell it for application on the face and body. This is a true natural ingredient.

Instructions for use:  
Facial cleanse skin scrub:   Put  3 spoonfulls of Thanaka powder in a small bowl. Add a small amount of water slowly and keep mixing till you form a paste.
Apply the Thanaka paste to your face, and scrub to remove dead skin and cleanse your skin. Best with finger tips not mixing brushLeave it on for 10-30 minutes, and wash your face.  Skin Foundation:  Apply the Thanaka paste as a foundation evenly all over your face. Put make-up on the paste. Thanaka paste acts a skin-protecting foundation and as a sunscreen.  Face Pack: Fill half a small bowl with Thanaka powder. Add water slowly and keep mixing till you form a paste.   Leave the paste on your skin overnight. Thanaka will remove acne and other blemishes, and make the skin smooth.Place a rubber sheet over your pillow to prevent staining. Add a teaspoon of turmeric powder for extra strength Body: Rub the Thanaka paste over your body about 10 minutes before a shower or bath. The paste will make your body smooth and relieve itchiness or other skin irritations.  Please note that there may sometimes be very small pink or red dots / bits in the Thanaka powder.These are the skin of the Thanaka tree, which doesn't effect the product in any way at all.It's 100% natural. Please remove these bits with a small spoon if you want to.
